00500	The Purifying Pony is about ready for operation.  We will need a  few
00600	rules  to  insure  equitable distribution of services.  I propose the

01100	The Purifying Pony is open to all people having offices in the D.  C.
01200	Power  Laboratory  and  their  guests.  Guests may use the facilities
01300	only with accompanying hosts.

01500	CHARGES

01700	This facility operates on the honor  system,  with  users  marking  a
01800	charge  sheet.  Showers cost 25 cents each, sauna and shower is $1.00
01900	per person, with discounts for shareholders (see below).   All  usage
02000	should  be  marked  on the charge sheet no matter how many shares you
02100	hold.  Users will be billed about once a month.  No  payments  should
02200	be left in the facility.

02400	RESERVATIONS

02600	Normally,  the facility will operate on an open-door basis.  The door
02700	to the large dressing room and shower may be latched at any time  for
02800	privacy.

03000	Individuals  or groups wishing exclusive use of the facility may make
03100	an entry on the reservation sheet located on the front  door  of  the
03200	facility  and  check  the "Closed Reservation" column.  There is a 50
03300	cent charge for each half hour of closed reservation over  and  above
03400	any  sauna  and  shower  charges.    This  charge applies even if the
03500	reservation is not used, unless it is cancelled at least an  hour  in
03600	advance.

03800	An  individual  who  wishes  to  insure  that  the  facility  will be
03900	available at a certain time but who doesn't mind if others  join  him
04000	may  make  an  "open  reservation"  for up to one hour using the same
04100	reservation sheet.  There is no charge for an open reservation.

04300	Alternatively, someone who finds the facility empty may usurp it  for
04400	his   exclusive   use   for  up  to  30  minutes,  subject  to  prior
04500	reservations.   He indicates this with a date and time entry  on  the
04600	"Userpers List" also located on the door.  There is no extra charge.

04800	If anyone finds the front door locked when there is neither a current
04900	closed reservation nor a valid userper entry, he should knock on  the
05000	door and those inside must admit him.

05400	The  initial  cost  of  the  installation  was covered by issuing 156
05500	shares for $10 each.  Shareholders are entitled to a 20% discount  on
05600	services  for  each  share, with no charge to those holding 5 or more
05700	shares.  The discount applies to the registered shareholder as of the
05800	billing  date.   It  does  not apply to his guests nor to the "closed
05900	reservation" surcharge.

06100	Shares may be sold at any  time  for  whatever  you  can  get.    The
06200	effective  transfer  date may be negotiated between buyer and seller.
06300	To be recorded, the transaction must be described in a note  to  Norm
06400	Briggs signed by the seller.

06600	As  funds accumulate, shares will be paid back in $1 steps.  When all
06700	shares have been fully reimbursed, the facility will become  free  to
06800	all staff members.

07000	RULE CHANGES

07200	Changes in these rules may be considered in a shareholders meeting at
07300	any time, provided the proposed change is posted  a  week  or  so  in
07400	advance.    Changes   require   concurrence  of  a  majority  of  all
07500	share-votes, not just those present.   Signed  proxies  and  absentee
07600	ballots will be honored.
